Four years ago, Wes spent New Year’s Eve in Tazza, with some of his co-workers from PPAC. Now he lives in Birmingham, Alabama, where he grew up.
He’s here for the National Arts Marketing Conference, and this is the first time he’s been back in Providence since 2006. “The first place I ate straight off the plane was Cuban Revolution.” He just bought a V-neck sweatshirt at the mall, and is about to get a coffee at – where else? – Dunkin’ Donuts.
“It’s awesome here – totally different from Alabama. Cool art, gorgeous buildings, people downtown walking around.
“I remember the first time I saw the snow here. There was two or three feet of it, and I didn’t know what to do with myself.”
Happy New Year from Westminster Stories!
